Overall Impact/Impression: Does the web site have visual impact? Does the web site present a unique, and visually and textually coherent message? Is the color scheme well thought out? Are images relevant to site content? Is the communication environment user friendly, and inviting? To what extent does the web site offer opportunities for visitor participation? Does the web site leave the visitor with a compelling impression?

Functionality and Navigation: Is the site content well organized? Are links functional, and do they lead the site visitor to anticipated results. Is the organizational structure of the web site transparent to potential site visitors?

Originality of Expression: Does the web site present a unique message, or world view? Are web site images site specific unique creations?

Style, Grammar, and Spelling: Is the content presented tastefully, with audience receptivity in mind? What level of reading comprehension does the site require, and is that appropriate to the potential audience? Are there any obvious grammatical and spelling errors which might detract from web site credibility? Was credit given for visual and text content borrowed from others?
